Eight of Swords

I recently got really into Tarot. I'm going to eventually design my own deck. This card was my first pick because I just love the imagery in it. I interpret this card as generally meaning that one uncomfortable moment of restriction before you're free, this is because I'm used to the rider-waite deck, and in it the girl is kind of smiling. I like to think that she's been set out in the wildnerness because she's this free thinking woman who's been kicked out of the castle, and tied up. But she's far cleverer than they gave her credit for and she's about to escape the binds. I took some liberties with the background, adding a forest and a beach. Those ideas don't really mean much to me particularly but if I did make this deck it might give some extra meaning to whoever drew this card. (Also I know the aspect ratio is a little off, I like it this way)
